Culture Shock

My family moved to the US when I was 13 yrs old. I am a Chinese from south-east of China near the coast. In our culture younger people have to show respect to the elderly and honor their family name. We are not allow to question the elder and look straight at them when we having conversation. It will be very rude if we look at thier eyes. In the US it is considered not honest if we dont look at people's eyes when we talk to them. We also workship our ancestors and put thier black & white photo on the wall to commemorate them. Its very unusual to hang a passed away person's photo on the wall in the US.
